We absolutely dislike the term „fan“! We’d never been a shitty rock band and we’d always prefered the old AMEBIX-slogan: „No gods, no masters„! Nevertheless, we appreciate it, if people like to show their personal „connection“ to our band and to the contents we are standing for. So here’s a nice collection of pictures, we accidentally discovered somewhere or which had been sent by people within the past years. Some of them are very special and funny. Thanks a lot, guys! By the way, we’re always interested to get new stuff, so feel free to send us everything you have, it will be published here.
Toni (ANAL MASSAKER), „raping“ Stoffel’s guitar, when ANAL MASSAKER shared the stage with YACØPSÆ @ AZ Saarbrücken (10th of April, 1993). Though he’s really freaky – in fact he’s a cool guy.
Here’s the very first „worship“ of a „fan“. At that time, done in the old school-way by letter. We got it a short time after the „Krank ist normal“ 7″ EP has been released. Obviously, it was just a joke, but a well done one, in our opinion.
Another special dedication from Austria’s finest: SOCIAL GENOCIDE! We accidentally discovered this awesome message on their demo tape, a short time ago when we shared the stage for two times in Bavaria and Austria. Thanks again for the trouble with the cops, because you guys were so „punk“. It’s good to know, that we never understood the idea(l)s of punk. Keep on destroying hotel-rooms, guys.
Up next is a mail of a funny guy from Memphis/ USA. That’s what we would call a true devotion. We’re just wondering about the whereabouts of the remaining family members.
A punk from Germany. We discovered him on Myspace, but unfortunately, we got no name.
Here are some cool guys from Brasil. As you can see, they did their YACØPSÆ-merch in the traditional D.I.Y.-style, and that’s the way we like it. We always said: „If you want to have a shirt, a button or a patch, so go for it and just do it by yourself!“ I suppose, we even got the pics from Myspace …
Whilst we’d been active on Myspace, a couple of years ago, we accidentally got in touch with a cool Noise/ Punk band from Aberdeen/ Scotland: FUCTOFF! At least, we spoke about doing a split 7″ EP, but we just did a U.K.-tour together, instead … These guys were absolutely great persons, and we’d been enamored by their „thievery“.
Further Myspace-discoveries: Some guy from the Philippines and one lady from Italy. Thumbs up!
To be continued, here’s a snapshot of Micha, the guitar-player of SANITYS DAWN. This one was taken at the „Maryland Death Fest“ in Baltimore, while touring the States with MAGRUDERGRIND, UNHOLY GRAVE and YACØPSÆ.
By the way, UNHOLY GRAVE … Even japanese grindheads like to be well dressed, right? Stoffel did the pictures in the apartement of Katie Kay and later at the show (Redrum, Providence/ USA).
In August 2006, Stoffel went to İstanbul/ Turkey, just to visit some friends and to use the possibility to hand out YOUR KINGDOM IS DOOMED their free copies of the split 7″ EP with YACØPSÆ. As you can see, some people had much fun while trying to act like the distorted face on the cover. From left to right and down: Aslı (YOUR KINGDOM IS DOOMED), Alper (LIFELOCK), Berk (TRUTH WE DEFEND), Bora (EXTREME RESPONSE PRODUCTIONS), Emre (LIFELOCK), Kerem (RADICAL NOISE), Nisa, some guy (BORN INTO THIS), and Uğur (TRUTH WE DEFEND).
„Our“ scared’n’distorted face seems to be in vogue. Here’s a flyer of a french Grindcore-show from 2006.
Some more D.I.Y.-stuff. Thanks a lot, guys.
Bora (EXTREME RESPONSE PRODUCTIONS) – back on the map.
Even YACUZZI from Bogotá/ Colombia „lent“ our logo and some artwork. They should do a split with FUCTOFF, hehe … Great persons, by the way. Stoffel met them several times, while travelling through Colombia.
Another nice girl from the States – another Myspace-discovery …
Tour-flyers are the law. JESUS CRØST and MIHOEN team up for their „Faster than who?„-campaign. Well done, guys!
Unknown guy from Germany. Another „Checkin‘ out the net“-discovery …
Nobody knows that guy, but he seems to be a person with a good taste, hehe …
Mike (PYREXIA), celebrating a drum-workshop …
Never heard of K.R.H. (I guess, they’re hailing from Colombia), but their drummer looks cool …
Some really funny guys from Colombia. Muchas gracias por las fotografias y feliz navidad, amigos. Yo quiero mas, por favor!
ANTONIO BANDERAS – a cool band from the United States. Thanks for the pictures, guys! By the way, their cover version of „Überlebenschance“ rules!
Back to Turkey. Bora (EXTREME RESPONSE PRODUCTIONS) is keeping the spirit alive!
The mighty DROPDEAD @ Köpi, Berlin/ Germany. Among the crowd, some guy with a YACØPSÆ-patch on his basecap.
A few more Myspace-discoveries: A girl from the States, some guy from Colombia, another guy from Southeast-Asia, and a great actor. Too much kind, guys …
Two close friends from Bogotá/ Colombia: Darcy (CEACHE) and Carolina.
KSM40 – a cool band from Cologne/ Germany, and absolutely great people. Remember the show @ Aetherblissement, guys.
Some italian guy …
One of Stoffel’s very best friends: Paola Loaiza (POLIKARPA Y SUS VICIOSAS)! Muchas gracias, te quiero mucho!
Some great unknown actor. Absolutely well done!
More unknown people. Thanks a lot, guys!
Our old fellow Buddel (partying with the guys of AGATHOCLES).
Our colombian friend Diego (ANTI-ARMADA).
For a few days, Diego visited Stoffel in Hamburg. Here’s a nice snapshot, posing in the rehearsal-room of YACØPSÆ.
Even more pictures of Diego. Here he’s got a date with some guys of BLUTTAT (legendary 80’s-Punk band from Germany) and Esteban of INFESTO (Colombia), somewhere at a shitty festival in Germany. Check out Diego’s pants, instead of Anja’s („Atti“) bottom, ok?
Myspace-discoveries and no end in sight. Here’s a young girl from Chile.
Some more crazy people from South-America. Great shots, but we got no idea about the names of the persons. Sorry …
Some girls from California (as far as we know).
Meet’n’greet, somewhere in the balkanian neighbourhood … From left to right: Ivan (FUCK YOGA RECORDS), Chris (MAGRUDERGRIND), and Avi (MAGRUDERGRIND).
And here we got some further cool snapshots, but don’t ask where did they come from.
Whose bass-drum is it?
Here we got a bunch of snapshots of Damien, the guitar-player of the mighty INHUMATE from France. Thanks a lot for inviting YACØPSÆ to the anniversary-show in Colmar/ France (15th of May 2010)!
And here’s another good friend: Good ol‘ Jessica! Thanks a lot for the pictures!
Even some more nameless guys …
Nice basecap, but we got no idea about the owner …
Our brothers in crime: CORROSIVE!
Another good friend: Dany of the mighty DEAD!
Holger (THE LOST LYRICS) gave the proof. Even if you’re playin‘ the best Pop-Punk tunes within Germany, you can’t hide your real taste, hehe …
One of our best friends from France, and YACØPSÆ-supporter no. 1: Sonia!
DEVASTATOR are a cool Death Metal band from Hamburg, and especially Wolf, the guitar-player, is a funny guy (always playin‘ barefoot). Whether he’s without shoes or not, the shirt is important, isn’t it?
PETRI MEETS PAULI are a funny Punk Rock coverband from our local area. Partly, we know each other for more than 20 years. Here are some pictures of their show @ the JUZ in Reinbek/ Germany (8th of September 2012). Especially Peer, the bass-player seems to be a huge „fan“ (we always thought, he prefered stuff like THE CRAMPS, GUN CLUB, SOCIAL DISTORTION, and DEMENTED ARE GO). Thanks a lot for the pictures, dude, but please take the shirt out off your pants!
Probably the most famous supporter: Campino (DIE TOTEN HOSEN)!
Some cool guy …
Somebody’s collection …
Somebody’s flyer collection …
Here’s a nice surprise from Indonesia, sent by Wawan of HOLIDAYXSUCKERS. Check them out, they’re playin‘ harsh and unrelenting Thrash (including a cool cover-version of the YACØPSÆ-classic „Beziehungskiste„). Thank you very much, dude!
Mr. Dutta of DAMNGOODKIDS sent us these two pics. Thanks a lot, you guys are really „damn good“, hehe … But what’s about the framed NKOTB-picture?
Another cool kid with a bad taste of „music“, hehe. Thanks a lot, Mr. U.!
Even Jenny looks great, right?
Fabi, the one and only voice of PELVIC THRUST!
Here’s a collection of some really cute kids. Seems to be that our „supporters“ are getting younger and younger, hehe …
Indonesia and no end in sight, hehe. Guess, this guy is from the circle around HOLIDAYXSUCKERS and ZABØGART (or even a member, I dunno). Nevertheless, thanks a lot for the dedication, dude. But just one question remains: Why did you use the national colours of Germany for our logo? Uuuurgh … Please, re-create it!
A date with Jan (AGATHOCLES).
… and presenting some more stuff of his collection.
Some punks. Check out the bag …
