We absolutely dislike the term „fan“! We’d never been a shitty rock band and we’d always prefered the old AMEBIX-slogan: „No gods, no masters„! Nevertheless, we appreciate it, if people like to show their personal „connection“ to our band and to the contents we are standing for. So here’s a nice collection of pictures, we accidentally discovered somewhere or which had been sent by people within the past years. Some of them are very special and funny. Thanks a lot, guys! By the way, we’re always interested to get new stuff, so feel free to send us everything you have, it will be published here.

1993

Toni (ANAL MASSAKER), „raping“ Stoffel’s guitar, when ANAL MASSAKER shared the stage with YACØPSÆ @ AZ Saarbrücken (10th of April, 1993). Though he’s really freaky – in fact he’s a cool guy.

1995

Here’s the very first „worship“ of a „fan“. At that time, done in the old school-way by letter. We got it a short time after the „Krank ist normal“ 7″ EP has been released. Obviously, it was just a joke, but a well done one, in our opinion.

   

Another special dedication from Austria’s finest: SOCIAL GENOCIDE! We accidentally discovered this awesome message on their demo tape, a short time ago when we shared the stage for two times in Bavaria and Austria. Thanks again for the trouble with the cops, because you guys were so „punk“. It’s good to know, that we never understood the idea(l)s of punk. Keep on destroying hotel-rooms, guys.

2003

Up next is a mail of a funny guy from Memphis/ USA. That’s what we would call a true devotion. We’re just wondering about the whereabouts of the remaining family members.

2006

A punk from Germany. We discovered him on Myspace, but unfortunately, we got no name.

Here are some cool guys from Brasil. As you can see, they did their YACØPSÆ-merch in the traditional D.I.Y.-style, and that’s the way we like it. We always said: „If you want to have a shirt, a button or a patch, so go for it and just do it by yourself!“ I suppose, we even got the pics from Myspace …

   

Whilst we’d been active on Myspace, a couple of years ago, we accidentally got in touch with a cool Noise/ Punk band from Aberdeen/ Scotland: FUCTOFF! At least, we spoke about doing a split 7″ EP, but we just did a U.K.-tour together, instead … These guys were absolutely great persons, and we’d been enamored by their „thievery“.

    

Further Myspace-discoveries: Some guy from the Philippines and one lady from Italy. Thumbs up!

   

To be continued, here’s a snapshot of Micha, the guitar-player of SANITYS DAWN. This one was taken at the „Maryland Death Fest“ in Baltimore, while touring the States with MAGRUDERGRIND, UNHOLY GRAVE and YACØPSÆ.

By the way, UNHOLY GRAVE … Even japanese grindheads like to be well dressed, right? Stoffel did the pictures in the apartement of Katie Kay and later at the show (Redrum, Providence/ USA).

   

   

   

   

In August 2006, Stoffel went to İstanbul/ Turkey, just to visit some friends and to use the possibility to hand out YOUR KINGDOM IS DOOMED their free copies of the split 7″ EP with YACØPSÆ. As you can see, some people had much fun while trying to act like the distorted face on the cover. DEVASTATOR are a cool Death Metal band from Hamburg, and especially Wolf, the guitar-player, is a funny guy (always playin‘ barefoot). Whether he’s without shoes or not, the shirt is important, isn’t it?

   

   

PETRI MEETS PAULI are a funny Punk Rock coverband from our local area. Partly, we know each other for more than 20 years. Here are some pictures of their show @ the JUZ in Reinbek/ Germany (8th of September 2012). Especially Peer, the bass-player seems to be a huge „fan“ (we always thought, he prefered stuff like THE CRAMPS, GUN CLUB, SOCIAL DISTORTION, and DEMENTED ARE GO).
